Providing industry personnel with the knowledge and skills required to safely evacuate, decommission, and destroy compressed gas cylinders or tanks. This course teaches industry best practices, ensuring safe and regulatory-compliant handling of a variety of pressure vessels, including low and high-pressure containers for the storage of select compressed gases.

Participants will gain a thorough understanding of:

• Physical and chemical properties of commonly encountered compressed gases.

• Identification, assessment, and mitigation of associated hazards.

• Evacuation, decommissioning and destruction procedures using approved equipment and industry-recognized methods.

• Critical safety protocols, emergency response considerations, and regulatory requirements related to pressure vessel disposal.

Qualification & Certification

Training is delivered by industry-certified instructors combining classroom learning with practical, hands-on exercises. Completion includes demonstrating competency through written examination and a practical skills evaluation.

Individuals will receive a Record of Training certificate from TeamWorks Solutions verifying successful completion to perform select compressed gas evacuation and cylinder destruction. ROT authorization is contingent upon continued adherence to the prescribed procedures and applicable safety requirements.
